Creating a systematic guide to the new architectural retail standards, for Volvo’s global programme - ‘Designed around you’.
Producing Volvo’s retail magnum opus, the Global Retail Guideline, resulted in a tour-de-force of production and packaging - and it needed to, as it covered every aspect of the design programme that is re-inventing how the brand is presented and represented.
We worked closely with Volvo Car Group’s lead architects, Wingårdhs, to organise the architectural direction around the customer journey and structure the guidelines in such a way as to make clear how, at each stage of the journey, the design programme supported the experience’s demands.
Production of the finished folders and cases was conducted with a Swedish printing house and the finished copies were presented at a global Dealer Conference to each country’s representatives.
