Having acquired this gateway site to Charlton Hayes development, Motorline approached Meda to develop a proposal that would address the complex planning policy issues arising from the proposed use.
Working closely with the LPA, the resultant scheme addresses these without compromising the viability of the development. The facility will provide over 3,000 square metres of combined motor retail space and training facilities for the Group Company, with training opportunities within the locality through collaboration with nearby educational institutions.
This unique blend of business and education will give trainees an up close and personal experience of what it takes to run a modern motor retail operation with access to the wide range of technical knowledge and skills arising from the rapid transformation of the industry – from today’s hybrid and full electric cars and vehicle-home-grid systems, to the fully autonomous and hydrogen-powered vehicles of the future.
