Obee Estates engaged Meda to commission the internal fit out of 80 apartments as a standalone D&B contract.
Following the completion of the shell and core conversion, a successful tender was received from Brickhill Construction who took on the fit out in a 54 week programme to September 2026
The fit out faced particular challenges to resolve changes in fire regulations and incorporate the boarding of internal walls encompassing the LGSF structure used in the original factory conversion.
Meda and Brickhill were instrumental in uplifting the specification - particularly kitchens, bathrooms, fittings and doors to ensure a premium quality of finish.
Meda also worked with client's interior designer, Atlantic Interiors to deliver the finishing touches for the heritage look and feel of the facility.
